Grace Family and Friends:

As New York lifts restrictions on faith community gatherings, we at Grace Lutheran Church and School are mindfully and prayerfully preparing a re-opening plan that carefully considers the safety of our families and guests.

As such, our preliminary re-opening plan has 2 PHASES. Phase One will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 and it is our hope and expectation to begin Phase Two in August. We will continue to be vigilant and make adjustments, if necessary, in consideration of your safety and to remain in compliance with CDC guidelines.

PHASE ONE:

  • Beginning on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, the sanctuary will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays for personal devotion and prayer, as well as, Holy Communion.

  • MONDAYS:

    • 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm - Personal Devotion and Prayer

    • 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm - Holy Communion

  • WEDNESDAYS:
    • 11:00 am - 12:30 pm - Personal Devotion and Prayer

    • 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm - Holy Communion

  • We will adhere to social distancing guidelines and face masks are required.

  • We will use disposable refilled communion cups with wafers for Holy Communion.

  • Sunday messages and our Grace Community Virtual Gathering will continue online on Sundays.

PHASE TWO:

  • Beginning on Sunday, August 2, 2020, we will have a modified worship service on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am in addition to our Monday and Wednesday devotion and Holy Communion.

  • In adhering to CDC guidelines, and for the safety of every parishioner, our modified Sunday worship service will not include singing.
